Nigel Farage to be pulled down

In a dizzying week that has seen the removal of a number of statues that commemorated historical figures associated with slavery and oppression, NEWS of the NEWS understands that the decision has been made to pull down Brexit Party and former UKIP leader, Nigel Farage.

A spokesman told our reporters:

“As so many of the symbols of our racist past are being dismantled we thought it made sense to address more contemporary versions. Mr Farage is a strong critic of the Black Lives Matter organisation and was allegedly known for his fascist sympathies during his college years. It was only a matter of time before he was taken out of public view and left to gather dust somewhere.”

The removal of Mr Farage is likely to set a precedent in the UK and elsewhere. NEWS of the NEWS understands that plans are being made for US President, Donald Trump, to be pulled down later this year.
